Finally for around to setting up my Color 4K-T camera and i cant get it to switch day and night profiles. I clicked on DAY, then set all my image settings etc, then went to time, and colored in the day portion roughing 7am to 7pm.

I did the same for the night profile, and colored in everything else purple for night,.
I make sure to hit apply (twice)

When i exit out of the browser, my image defualts back to DAY in my NVR program *even though its night time *Im in the purple.

Am I doing something wrong? How do I get it to adjust day and night profiles do to the time i set for day and night/.

I am using Customized Scene, instead of Self-Adaptive? Could that be it? I dont even know the diff between them both.

One more thing to note, in the camera, i set it for a 12 hour time format, but in the Time Plan Settings it looks like its 24. Does that matter?

Here are my settings below.
Please help.
Thanks

Having learned the hard way after 12 years of Dahua camera, I always use the 24 hour clock.

BTW using Customized Scene is the correct way to force it to use your customized schedule. Same I do on 90% of my cameras

I’m also using a 12 hour clock on my 4K-X but I send a signal to the cam at sunset to have it switch over to night mode so I guess I’m not really using its built in scheduling since im commanding it externally.

Yup

is this easily done, or through an integration program like HA or another.. ?

Ill continue.

Why is the audio so bad? I tried all of these different codecs, and they are all terrible. Which one works the best for your?
edit-- which codec works the best? why choose one of the other, etc?

You found the key. "Noise Filter" would be better labeled "Distortion Inserter".
