hi, how are you?.

im user of bi 3.66, i just installed the demo of version 4 to check if the program has more new camera models.

im trying to use a camera named "JOOAN"

i have anothers rtsp cameras working on BI but i cant use it.

Anybody has the solution to this problem?

You want to upgrade to 4 regardless, its has security updates as well as a bunch of new features as well is only $30 dollars.
any camera that properly supports an rtsp feed or onvif feed will work.
How to add camera to BI that is not in the drop down list

thanks for your reply, i tried to get url via url sniffer, but i dont found nothing :(.

i'll try with a sniffer.

Sorry, me again.

This camera uses DanaCMs software, i check my connections and get port 34102 for the ip of camera, but i cant connect to this port via bi and web browser.

well, some hours after, i can add my JOOAN Cameras to BI, you need to hack camera.

Hey, I have this same camera. What did you need to do to find the stream?
Check out URL's for many Jooan cams in iSpyConnect, here ==>> Connect to Jooan IP cameras

Your model # lists this: "rtsp://username:password@camIP/onvif1" (not sure why this happened but substitute a colon and a P for the pink emoticon!)

Put in your user, pass & IP and in VLC perform a "open a network stream" first; if it works, try in BI's 'generic' 'RTSP...." as follows. I'd try image 1 first. If no go, try #2. NOTE: In #2, URL begins with "http", not "rtsp".
