I bought my first Hikvision and i'm having troubles connecting the cam to the app.
Situation:
Cam is in DHCP mode and i changed the port to 8765.
In my router I use static IP by the mac adress of the camera.
In my router i forward port 8765 to the static IP adress of the camera on the same port 8765.
When i open a webbrowser and browse to http://<my external IP>:8765, i'm getting a Hikvision login page. I can login using the user account. So everything works fine.
Now I downloaded the hikvision iVMS-4500 app.
At device management i choose manual adding.
Filling in the alias
Register mode: IP/Domain
IP: <my external IP>
Port: 8765
Username and password.
I use the same parameters as i use when i use a webbrowser.
But i'm getting a error in Dutch:
"Ontvangen van gegevens van de server mislukt"
In English sould be something like:
"Receiving server data failed"
