hi to all.
i am currently running bi with 8 2 mpx ip cam at 25 fps. i changed my cpu (an old amd 8350) with a i5 7600k and 8 gb of ddr4 2400 ram.
i run bi as a service and the record is direct to disk. bi cpu cunsumption is about 50 % . is it possible to decrease this valor? I know that i can low the fps of the cam but there is other option? I have the intel hd acceleration enable and i install the drivers suggested on the forum (hd iris 650).
thanks

Decrease your frame rate to 5fps, reboot and let us know what happens to your CPU usage.

you have something set wrong...read the wiki on proper BI setup..direct to disk, hardware acceleration...are you logging in remotely?

i do a clean install and i read the wiki, for the direct to disk and hardware acceleration. i reboot and now with all 8 cameras at 15 fps the cpu is at 40 %. do i have to try the 5 fps option ?
