Cyber Monday - Lorex worth it?

A friend is looking to buy the following kit but I don't know enough about hardware to know whether these are better spec-wise or better for the money/value ... anybody?

Here's the camera's he's looking at ...
4K Ultra HD IP NVR System, 4 Outdoor 4K (8MP) IP Bullet and 4 4K Audio Dome Cameras, with 4x Optical Zoom and 250FT Night Vision (White Cameras)

I would've recommended the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE's from Andy ... what do you guys think?

That's a bit pricey compared to some of the other kits Lorex has on sale.

If your friend is hot for lorex deals.. then perhaps this kit + 4x starlights from Andy

Just remember Lorex kits do not have IVS features.

I just picked this setup up for $577 Cyber week price.
I figure the 8 channel receiver is worth that.

Will receive tomorrow and install this coming weekend.
