Dahua 8 cam setup with Cat5 cable help

Good day,
Im pretty new to CCTV universe and im looking for assistance.

I have currently installed 8 cameras with cat5 cable on a dhi-hcvr4108hs-s2 dvr.
So far 6 cameras are showing and i have trouble shot multiple ways why the other to are not.

Is it possible that only 6 cams can only be shown via cat5 cable?

Any suggestions will humble be needed.

Hi, Its a DVR, and using ethernet cables. so far 6 are up. Im using balum connectors on wither side

You need to provide the make and model number of the cameras.

The cams are basic dahua ball dome 1MP 3.6mm 20m IR cams
Model - DH-D-1-3.6

I'm runnning 12 HDCVI cameras over Cat5 on a beefier 7000 series DVR.

On the 'Lite" series DVR/XVR's there are limitations on incoming bandwidth and FPS. What FPS are you running?

The DVR takes into consideration all streams, so if you are running 25FPS on the main stream and 25 on the MD recording, it looks at that as 50FPS. Add that up over 6 cams and you're at 300FPS which may be over the Max capability of the DVR..

Try lowering the FPS and then the bitrate if necessary
