Hi All,

For some reason my Dahua camera no longer displays playback from the internet browser. I`ve tried 3 difference pc`s and nothing shows up. It is recording, and i`ve check with an app on my phone that shows recorded video. But not on the windows internet browsers (chrome, edge, firefox)!?
It use to work but not any more, any ideas??

System VersionV2.800.0000008.0.R, Build Date: 2019-06-19
WEB VersionV3.2.1.749079
ONVIF Version16.12(V2.4.3.651299)

Thanks

Try to use internet explorer. It will need a plugin to view live feed. It should prompt you to download and install it. You may need a hard reset also. Hope you get it figured out.

Thanks that worked. But it used to be fine in chrome, firefox, etc had an app aswell for chrome but that doesnt work either.
Any ideas what it could be?

Pale Moon Browser helps. Otherwise use SmartPSS

thanks but I don't understand why a month ago it all worked fine in chrome. now I tried it in 3 other browsers and they no longer work. maybe a firmware update did it!?

It's possible a firmware update may have done it, sometimes performing default settings work. On the other hand, the browser plugin is almost never reliable. Here is the latest version of SmartPSS New Smart PSS V2.003.0000000.0.R.190802

I just wiped my computer and reinstalled latest windows 10 and Pale Moon browser but PM no longer shows the live video on any of my cameras? No errors or download prompts.

Try using Firefox; the issue is so random, that sometimes reinstalling the webplugin works as well; even upgrading the camera fixes this issue from time to time. Its better to install SmartPSS and view everything through your desktop instead of web browser.

I'll try SmartPSS then when I get a chance. But can you make all the same adjustments through it as you can going straight to the camera in a web browser?
