Dahua camera dead this morning. Seeking suggestons.

I’m writing to see if anybody might have a suggestion
Situation
My camera went dead this morning.

Background
Not sure of the exact model, it’s an 8mp, similar to an IPC-HDW5231R-ZE. Bought from Andy 2 years ago. No issues before.

Assessment,
Removed the camera, hooked up to new functioning network cable. No luck.
Open camera, hard reset, the green light on inside circuit board, not recognized on configuration software. (there is an open 192.168.1.108 channel)

Does anybody have any other ideas?

thanks for answering. Found a 12-volt adapter. Still nothing. Greenlight on circuit board, hard reset, nothing found on configuration software. can't think of any other ideas.

Just to get this right, hard reset, hold the reset button till light goes out. Unplug, plug back in, hit the reset button agian till light out?

I just Hold down reset for 10 seconds. No power off just hold Reset button : D

Check the cable and network socket port to see if maybe water has got in, pins should be clean and hopefully shines, if blackened or green then water may have got in. You could try gently cleaning the pins?

Ya, that's what I was going to say. You could also try contact cleaning spray, it works well if the possible corrosion is not really bad.
