Ok. Without being there physically then it’s almost impossible to troubleshoot. There may be a reset button on the motherboard, the part with the heat sink, little black or red button, you could try.

honestly though at 8 years old, I’d invest in a new XVR. Possibly the power supply has died.

Ok thank you I’ll try that
As a last tip from you, could you please show me where is the heat sink ?
Thanks a lot

It may be anywhere. I don’t have a pic of the internals of that XVR but should be a small black button

Yeah they don’t all have one unfortunately.

Based on what you’ve said, I think it’s time for a new one.

Just my experience with a similar unit that I fitted many years ago. The separate 12 volt power supply had partially failed and was only outputting 9 volts DC. Replacement power supply resolved.

Agree, I mentioned a few posts up it could be a power supply. If the OP wants to try and replace it…

Hello Again
Just a quick question : I’m stuck on matrix mode and I can’t go back to the main menu. My mouse doesn’t respond.
How can I quit Matrix mode?

Typically a right click anywhere will bring up a menu. Try power off/on ?

You really need to access it via a pc using the web interface with a browser.
