Have read many forums but can't solve problem.

Have tried:

The first 3 work OK for my Amcrest IP2M-841, a Dahua-rebrand, so I think they're in the correct format with the username and password at the beginning.
  • If you open a browser and put into its URL the cam's IP and hit <enter> does it bring up its embedded webGUI?
  • With that same browser if you put into its URL any one of the first 3 URL's and hit <enter> do you get a snapshot in the browser?

Let's also question the obvious - Is there an SD card in the camera?

SD card needs to be installed as that is where the snapshots are saved!

I put mjpeg into browser and get stream: If first 3 snapshot links above then browser waiting about 5 sec and 500 error. Inside there is 401 then 500.

Yes the SD card is needed to record anything on the camera - motion alerts or snapshots.

Yes dahua has a substream in the camera. Log into the camera GUI and ensure you have the substream enabled.

It is rtsp substream. I can't get image from browser url with it. Isn't it?

Installed sd card. Format it inside camera web interface.

Have tried snapshot, same issue. And no images on sd card.

Found small snapshot button on top-right of live preview and it makes snapshot with png from browser. But it is javascript function.
How to do it with http url?

Rtsp mainstream works with my DNN application through gstreamer.
Http substream works as preview in my nodejs/react application in browser.

But i need http snapshots. Many cameras can do it without any problems. But Dahua has issue.
