For reference, this camera IPC-HFW1831C-PIR is similar to those in the Lorex kits ( often seen at Costco ). iirc the Lorex cameras do not have any IVS features in the firmware, and thus may actually be slightly different hardware wise ( less memory perhaps? less processing power? - as it does not have to do any IVS calculations, this is speculation on my part )
