Dahua IPC-HFW4431R-Z - English or Chinese firmware?

I rollback to original discussion:
I just received a new HFW4431R-Z with this firmware:
System Version2.621.0000.28.R, Build Date: 2017-09-12
WEB Version3.2.1.495007

That's newer than what I'm using (2.420.0000.22.R, Build Date: 2016-12-09). You have either chinese firmware hacked to do english, or international firmware hacked to run on a chinese camera. I don't know how to tell which. The version I'm running, AFAIK, is the only one that's readily available to load onto the 4431R-Z and still have it use english.

I have had four IPC-HFW4431R-Z for more than a year. So far no problems. They work with the new NVR also.

This model already ends production now. Replaced by some bullet without bracket. So have to buy bracket separately

Where did you buy it? Any warning about not trying an upgrade of firm ware?

Does the replacement bullet have normal firm ware or hacked? Did the storm some days ago hit you also?

China has too many hurricane,LOL.. Cheap models always hacked, just search it on the dahua International website.

I read about people evacuated but it was only 50000 in Shanghai. You have typhoon season. I know now what the warning about not upgrading firm ware means.

If you can't find the exact model number on the Dahua International site....avoid.

mmm, I'm afraid: after few days of use I keep having tens of reset (I receive email from my nvr).
I'm using this cam at max resolution, h264h, wdr on and motion dection active.
can be too much for the low resources of this cam?
or can be an hardware issue?

Using it with what? Only one camera and NVR?

Using with my nvr. I have other official cameras and this one is the first from aliexpress.
