Dahua IPC HFW4431R-z Reset or setup- troubleshoot

Fatal errors on both segments.
Or is there a chance the firmware is not being allowed to change?
Is there a chance it's the wrong firmware?
The fact that you are in a 10.x.x.x subnet on this camera with a non working default PW raises some serious red flags.
Or maybe the Red Flag mentioned is real.
I have a new IPC HFW4431R-z, just shipped, Eth is connected with POE
Maybe wave the flag at the seller.

The two-holes at 1D2 are your reset point. With all power removed from the camera, connect a piece of wire/jumper between these two points, and apply power to the camera while the wire is still connected.

Here a picture of my camera, can you help me find the reset connections?

Here's the secret to finding it. It's two holes, very closely-spaced. ;)
(Look to the left-hand side, 9 o'clock position.)
And THANK YOU for providing a photo! :)

FYI, it's VERY likely the four pins at the right-hand side, 3 o'clock position, are a serial console, useful for last-resort debugging the firmware.

I don't want to interrupt @VorlonFrog but the two points you need to short are at the 9 o'clock position of your photo at the edge of the board. Shorting the serial connection won't help at all and may "hinder" things in the end.

It does not work
Wired connection between the two points 1 and 2 on the left of your camera image?
Applied power while connection between points 1 and 2 are made?
Waited a minute or two before removing power and the wired connection?
The camera should be at IP 192.168.1.108 after a factory reset in this fashion.
