Hello,

could someone explain why there is no forward button to play the streams with speed ?

I have a Dahua NVR DHI-NVR4208-4ks2 with firmware V4.001.0000005.4.R.

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

You must us IE or Edge in IE mode to see all of the controls

It will be there awhile because Windows still uses explorer behind the scenes even if they don't want us to use it LOL.

Plus it is still available.

How to enable native Internet Explorer in Windows 10 and 11:
  1. Open Notepad:
  2. Copy then paste the single line of code below into Notepad:
  3. CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application").Visible=true
  4. Save as OpenIE.vbs
  5. Make sure the the file name ends in .vbs not .txt, If it ends in .txt you must rename to .vbs
  6. Create a shortcut to the above file and double-click it anytime you want native Internet Explorer
  7. Download any of the plug-in the NVR or camera asks for.

Thanks @bigredfish,

perfect and thanks. This was the solution. Although it is questionable how long the IE modus will be provided by Microsoft in the future. But we will see, so long it works.
Hello @bigredfish, one more thing, which is really annoying. I use "Intelligent" and "General" to record. When I want to play the general stream and go with the mouse on a specific time, let's say 10.24 o'clock, it does not start from there and jumps e.g. to 8.26 o'clock and begins playing from there. Do you have the same problem or is there a solution for it? Thanks for a reply.

'On the NVR on the playback tab? or on a computer running SmartPSS?

Are you running 12 or 24 hour clock on the NVR? The 12 hour clock presents problems, always has. Use the 24hr clock

On the NVR mentioned in my first post. The 24 hour clock is on.

When I tap on 4.37 o'clock it jumps to 2.31 in the morning. See screenshot. His this maybe something to do with the settings? How to record general for 24 hours long?
