Dahua NVR rewrites WAY before the disk is full

Hello,
I have a Dahua NVR 36 channel with 23 cams and 2 x 4TR hard drives and from some time now the NVR records only 2 days and rewrites. I can see that the first hard drive is not close to full and the second is completely empty.
The integrated disk check in the NVR says that's nothing wrong with the disks.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem ?

make sure that they are both plugged in to the board first, and have power. Next, make sure that they are both set to read/write in the HDD management menu. they should both show up in this menu if they are plugged in and powered up.

Thanks for the reply, but I found the problem elsewhere. Someone has made the option for autodeletion 1 day.
