Dahua PTZ SD22204T-GN Loses PTZ after time

Hi everyone!

I’m running a Dahua 2MP PTZ IP Camera SD22204T-GN. The camera is setup on BI 5. Everything works great.... for a while. After a certain amount of hours all PTZ controls on this camera stop functioning. The video feed continues however. What’s also interesting is that attempting to access the cameras web interfaces fails after the PTZ issue happens as well. (The browser just spins when attempting to load the camera’s IP address.)

The work around? Power down the camera and restart. In this case this means unplugging the POE switch (or disconnecting the cam from the switch). Attempting to restart the camera from BI does not fix the issue.

Firmware says it’s good on checkingit after reboot.

Try logging in directly to the camera using internet explorer browser or Pale moon browser. Under setup/auto maintain/tick auto reboot and choose everyday from the drop down. That will at least get you going once a day.
You could try backing up your settings and and do a hard reset/default.
