> CVI/CVBS/AHD/TVI switchable
No, those are only cvi(HD)/sd(cvbs) switchable at least according to the spec sheet. These new cameras allow you to use AHD and TVI as well.I think they've had that for a while my HAC-HFW2802T-Z-A and HAC-HDW2802T-Z-A are both switchable, the only crappy part is that only do 5mp in tvi not 8.
Well the specs say otherwise and therefore it was posted. Good to know.well I own them and they are currently running in TVI, the have 2 dip switches which gives 4 modes depending on there position.
There is very little difference between 5mp and 8mp.When they came out they website just HD and CVBS switchable, didn't actually say just cvi so I downloaded to check which HD modes and the manual stated tvi and ahd as well but made no mention of the 5mp limit in tvi so I ordered them wasn't to happy when I set them up in tvi to find that 5mp was the max.
I know it was just one of those things where I paid extra for a nice 4k and then can't use it. Had I known ahead of time I would have gone for theThere is very little difference between 5mp and 8mp.
