Am I missing something? The text says that is the 200312 version, but the actual link takes you to the 201123 version, which I assume does not have auto tracking? Do you have a copy of the 200312 version hosted somewhere?

I just bought an SD49225XA-HNR from andy a week ago and auto tracking works on it but the firmware that came on it is: V2.800.1341000.0.R.P9.2520.UN.NR, Build Date: 2020-03-12
Is this a newer firmware than the 200312?

I've been reading through this thread thinking I would need to upgrade FW when it arrived, but autotrack already works. :)
I guess Im just curious what this FW is that came on it?

If you update you will loose auto tracking, if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Since I like you guys ;) , here is a stable auto-track build for this series - cheers and happy friday.

No offense, but I wouldn't recommend any install a custom firmware from some random guy - especially when the package is nearly twice as big as normal which is a huge red flag IMHO. (Can we say imbedded malware?)

I would recommend that people wait for Andy or Wildcat or someone else that we trust to confirm the validity of this firmware.

none taken at all ;)

The link is fine, but we are curious why you think that firmware is superior to what folks run?

I feel tracking is a bit more fluent as well as the bugs of not being able to use chrome/edge/firefox etc have been corrected, another reason completely unrelated to anything tracking is P2P works correctly - in our business when we need to make / modify any settings to the camera for our customer and ports are not opened for remote access - we can simply add the PTZ via P2P to SmartPSS and utilize link to web to port into the WebUI.

So this firmware will allow the track time to actually be set in a different browser and hold?

How did this firmware come about? I take it you are an authorized dealer?

correct in terms of browser, as for where this firmware came from I work for one of the largest Dahua distributors in the USA.

Living on the edge.

I did flash the version @Wiz_ard provided. Note, if you factory reset, it doesn't go back to 192.168.1.108, but 192.168.1.126, as discovered by the Dahua config tool. Track time does keep in firefox. IVS function are available as well. Will need to test tomorrow.

Regarding the P2P-Web UI part of your post:
I have recently been doing exactly the same thing with a friend's remote 49225 that has 2018 firmware. I was amazed at how well it worked. And I was using Edge with IE Mode.

I couldn’t live without it!

SD49225XA-HNR - Can Upgrade to Auto Tracking. Latest Firmware Version 210705
SD49225XA-HNR-S2 - Do not Upgrade to Auto Tracking. Latest Firmware Version 210713

Also remember flashing anything is a risk be it a camera or PC motherboard, so do so at your own risk. I take it you purchased your camera from an Authorised Dahua seller as you mentioned warranty?

I guys, I just bought an DH-SD49225XA-HNR-S2 firmware V2.812.0000012.0.R, Build Date: 2022-04-14 is there any way to activate Auto Track?
