What is the difference bettween xxxxxxx _NP-xxxxxxx and xxxxxxxPN_xxxxxxx firmware ?

As has been asked several hundred times and answered several hundred times, NP means NTSC and PN means PAL. It actualy make absolutely no difference since these are IP cameras and transmit a data stream, not a composite video stream.

So, seems there are now both General_SD5AXXX-HN_MCU_V2.401.0000000.98.R.210402 and DH_SD-Prometheus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.810.0000025.0.R.210317 on Dahua firmware site for SD5A445XA-HNR.

@pinko so did you install the new FW:s? Any differences you noticed?

@EMPIRETECANDY is the firmware testing complete? Any news of what this version might bring over the last one?

The readme.txt file is not really that helpful; the entire contents of the file reads; "Supported Devices: All"

Latest firmware is available from the SD49225XA-HNR product page on Dahua Website. Just select downloads > firmware (tabs) and select f/w version.

Why would they remove auto-tracking from F/W? Tracking works as well as most other PTZs....
