Dahua Video Doorbell DB10

I will send one to @looney2ns for testing

Seeing other reviews from @looney2ns I'm sure it will be reviewed very good. Having read the not so good experiences by others and since video from the unit will not/cannot be captured (over wifi can't expect to much I guess) on the nvr, probably better idea to have a nice review on the nice intercom kit from Dahua, VTO2000AS - intercom Kit. It comes with a nice screen on which one can watch other cams in and around the house. We'll see after New Year

I had the same issue with db10 battery. It died after 3 days on first charge. That first charge was only 3 hours.

I then charged it for 36 hours, and so far it's been a week with no issues.

I am having issues formatting my microsd card in the unit. I just get a failure message.

The motion detect + push notification works fine. When the doorbell is pressed, I do get a video call from the app. It takes at least 6-8 seconds to connect, and I cannot hear any audio.

Hopefully some of these bugs are fixed soon.

Aside from being unable to format the micro SD, I am also unable to locate the IP address to adjust settings.

Honestly I'd just hold out for a VTO3211D-P1 (which doesn't exist yet).

I guess I have seen a VTO3211D-'P4' (same size as VTO3211D-P2 but four buttons).
So - I guess a version with just button might be coming as well... although it might leave lot of estate uncovered
and Dahua has intercom w/ single button.

Have you checked out: VTO6100C?

 read the manual for the VTO3211D-P2 they just killed 2 of the buttons and didn't make holes in the outer case. I think they actually stopped making the P4 version.

The VTO3211* is currently their best door station, it's the only 1080p one. The camera is much better than their others. I hope they release some other models with better cameras this year.

As i told Paul to take the battery off and then put back it, this can solve the problem. What is the firmware version on the doorbell? I check if have newer one.

I honestly cannot believe how garbage this db10 is.

First, it doesn't show up on any IP scanning tools. Never has.

Two, I disconnected the camera to charge it. After it was charged, it lost connection with Lechange. Since then, I have been unable to add it to lechange or gdmss. It simply cannot be added. I have 5.0 ghz disabled and am following all the instructions. Nothing on my network has changed.

I have requested a replacement device from Andy as I believe this is a defect. It is utterly useless.

Review-Dahua DB-10 Video Doorbell

I've been playing around with the DB10 for a while. Actually I found that it was poor but I did like the concept so thought I'd persevere. I updated the firmware to the latest release and updated the app to IMOU from lechange. I found the speaker to be very low when trying to talk on my phone. I then tested this on an iphone 6, One Plus and a Samsung (I was using an honor) and the speaker worked fine. Obviously this was a small test but it's now not as bad as I previously though.... although I still have a problem using it with my personal phone.

If anyone still has one it might be worth trying to update it and giving it a go again.

May I ask, how do you update the firmware?

The doorbell IP does not show up on any IP scanning tools including Dahua ipconfig.
