Day and Night settings via profile, script, trigger or API ?

is anyone aware if there is a known way to make changes to the Hikivision camera settings via script, profile, trigger or API.

the use case is that some IMAGE settings are optimal for day time and others for night time such as WDR.
So it would be great if there were an image profile for day time (WDR ON) and night time (WDR OFF).

i didn't see in the settings but there must be a way to change the camera settings via script and or API call to the web interface.

any ideas?

You can set them up different in the web interface. You can set the Day profile different to the Night profile.

Yup, like Del Boy said, change the Day/Night Switch in the camera to manual and you have control of times/settings that the image settings will change. Kind of confusing at first, but works nonetheless.

If you want more granular control, you CAN do what you asked in your first question too.

Now I am wondering what it would take to build a script that could push commands to the camera via the API.
