All my Hikvision cameras are switching to night (greyscale) before it is necessary. If a manually set day/night mode to day then auto, it will probably stay in day mode for some time.
I tried adjusting sensitivity and it didn't seem to help much. BLC did help sometimes but it causes issues with white balance throughout the day.
scenario 1) outdoor light area, the camera can get good images 24 hours in day mode. If I set it to auto, the camera will go into night mode at night, unnecessary. I would like the camera to go into night mode only if outdoor lighting is out.
scenario 2) indoor, light is on sometimes but camera still in night mode. If I set the camera to day mode then auto, it can stay in day mode. But too often it does not.
Is there any solution to these issues? scheduling does not work for neither scenario...I am thinking about wring a script to toggle day mode at set intervals to make the camera still in day mode as much as possible
