Deleting from Dahua NVR

How do i delete recordings? For the life of me I can't figure this out and the manual doesn't mention it nor can I find reference posts on the forum.

Can't you just let them loop around and overwrite?
Or maybe I shouldn't ask why you need them deleted ...

AFAIK, NVR's don't 'want' you to delete files..a chron job to delete files every x days old will work, as will formatting the drive.
