Hi guys,

I've had a decent result setting up my BI at home and mum's.

Now a friend wants similar for his workshop man shed.
But he lives in a mid-terrace house and his shed is near on 100m away, beyond the row of terraces and it's in a woodland with no lighting nearby.

So would it be possible to power 10w or 20w LED floodlights off a POE switch or a POE+?

Then I can see a way of setting up a good camera coverage.

Without any natural light it's a but of a non starter I think.

Yes. See POE Flood Light with ip camera pass through... they are pir activated but im sure you can bypass that...contact the manufacture.
For inside the shed see POE+ Unifi Network-Managed LED Panel and Dimmer Switch
also note that using a good low light camera like the dahua starlights you dont need additional lighting.

Thanks fenderman, I'll defo be checking those out when I get time.

I have Dahua starlight at my house, I always have low light.
I'd be amazed if any quality identify could be obtained in zero light. Therefore I'd just set up for LED lighting in that scenario.

It can easily identify with Zero light...that is what the IR is for.
