lol...cute...they cant and wont do a damn thing to help you.I have filed a complain to ONVIF.ORG
Let see what would they do about this issue, if anyhting.
No, but the new 4.0 firmware does:does this update provide the ability to view the video feeds without a special browser plugin?
Just noticed following - DH_NVR4XXX-I_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.0.R.20190713.zip in Index of /images/Firmware
is this 4KS2 firmware ? anyone tried?
i just tried it and it said update failed. i don't think it is compatible with the 4ks2
this is the latest i have running on my nvr:
Device Type: DHI-NVR4108-P-4KS2
Web Version: 3.2.3.98477
Onvif Version: 2.4.1
System Version: 3.216.0000003.0, Build Date: 2019-05-21
it still requires plugins.
The source location of the Firmware isn't good. The download never completes and hangs.I think Andy still testing this could be it
NVR4XXX-4KS2 Firmware
I have 4631C-A and its working fine. The source location of the Firmware isn't good. The download never completes and hangs.
I used Dahua UK website to upload the new Firmware:
https://www.dahuasecurity.com/uk/support/downloadCenter/firmware?child=171
From the first glans the web interface looks different. Surprisingly Chrome works now. No need in the annoying plug-in.
The Chinese Dahua IP cameras still don't work with this firmware ( I had my hopes too hight). Neither with Onvif. Only possible via customized rtsp mode. .
Still no way to downgrade back to v3.215

can't you go back to english firmware? mines going straight into NVR and no problems at all. Even the IVS works good too when smart codec is disabled.I have 4433C-A.
It works if it is Modded from Chinese to English. I had to convert the firmware back to Chinese due to modded FW issue. Since NVR version 3.216 they made something to prevent these cameras to connect. Neither ONVIF works. RtSP only. I also can't mod the camera back to English even with serial connection due to the signature DH introduced not long time ago.
Unfortunately I can't go back to English anymore. The English modded version discussion which was available here in the forum helped with the old FW camera versions, prior to the signature introduction. After that, if you upgrade to any official newer version you have no way to go back to older ones, neither can apply the mod.can't you go back to english firmware? mines going straight into NVR and no problems at all. Are you at least possibly saying that the chinese market cameras are rejected by the nvr only if hooked up to the nvr's poe ports?i have one IPC-HDW4631C-A and it works fine with the NVR with 4.0 firmware. of course, my cameras are not connected to the ethernet ports of the NVR. my cameras are connected to my router through a poe switch and the NVR is connected to the router as well.

I tried to connect indirectly to NVR via switch. No luck.
No matter how do I connect the camera. It won't work with neither DH private or ONVIF protocols. Just RTSP. The NVR stopped recognizing it after I upgraded the NVR firmware to the newest one. This is the known issue with the Chinese modded cameras. I thought you would bring some new ideas.yes. seems to be the case in my situation.
is the switch connected to a NVR ethernet port or your network router ethernet port?
