Hi,
I saw today that there is new camera, model DS-2CD2H35FWD-IZS,
With Min. Illumination,
Color: 0.005 Lux @ (F1.2, AGC ON), 0 Lux with IR
Color: 0.0089 Lux @ (F1.6, AGC ON), 0 Lux with IR

There isn't datasheet now (I tried to download and I got error), so can't confirm the illumination.

Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.

What you say ?

Yes, it seems not IR, but they wrote in Specs,
IR "until 30M"

I am interested. I do not need IR as there are street lights in my area. I wonder if it is available yet?

The 8MP the low light isn't the best, 3MP is better I think.

I finally got one of these (there are some other posts on it under different topics) I thought I'd post some info here. It does have EXiR infra-red built in. I gathered from the specs there was an inbuilt microphone, but there's only a 3.5mm input plug for an external microphone.
It's quite a large camera compared to the DS-2CD2335FWD-I or DS-2CD2342WD-I and uses a totally different mount configuration.

There's also not the usual pigtail type plugs to connect it. Instead there's a waterproof box hidden on the base with a large grommet. The cables (RJ45, microphone, alarm etc) get fed through the grommet and plugged into bulkhead style plugs. That box seems to have another waterproof seal where those connections get fed into the actual camera body.

I'll update this thread with more info later....
