When I turn on "direct-to-disk" all sections in a recorded video where there is motion gets scrambled. Where there is no motion or when watching a live feed it looks all fine. Any input on how to get "direct-to-disk" working properly are appreciated. FYI, I have a Hikivisions 2CD2132 and 2CD 2032, both set at full resolution and 15fps.

its not scrambled, its just in the original file format which is unlikely to play in your default media player.. try playing back through BlueIris, externally through VLC, or install a Codec pack that has the video decoders you need.

try the k-lite codec pack @ http://blueirissoftware.com/third-party-software/

You need to lower your i-frames to the lowest possible settings. Not fps, but i-frames, its in the camera settings..also if that doesn't work in blue iris got to camera properties>video tab>configure and set the buffer to 10mb....
