I've been using the DMSS App for a long time, but recently it's been automatically pausing videos after a certain duration with a pop-up message:

The video has been playing for a long time. Are you sure you want to continue playing it?

Has anyone else encountered this? How can I disable it?

Testing mine now, started at 7:08 am EST - will advise

But as I mentioned in another thread, I can;t see using a phone to monitor live video cameras for more than say 10-15 minutes.

Thanks. I’m using it to monitor my toddler while I’m busy doing chores.

40 minutes now at 7:48 am

You need to get a monitor setup. A phone is a lousy way to view live video over hours

Thanks for the advise but I prefer a phone so I can carry it around. Parenting while taking care of the house is a challenge. Surely people like me know what I mean

I took care of a severe stroke victim 24/7 for 1 and 1/2 years recently. I’m well aware

I closed it after 1 hr 10 min

iPhone was getting warm

Yes, I have encountered too... Im using a Samsung Tablet; Samsung Phone and both experiencing the same issue where it asking me to "continue". Have u gotten any fix?

This is annoying as hell, lots of clients I have tablets set on stands to stream live view across LAN, now they all have to constantly click continue. Dahua has gone down the shitter over the last decade and the new company that bought NA hasn’t impressed me yet in the least.
