Does the iVMS-4500 mobile app work with mixed vendors? (the answer is no!)

I’ve had hikvision cameras for years so I’m quite used to using iVMS-4500 for live viewing of cameras.

I branched out and ordered some other brands to round out my security requirements. I wondering if that app can be used for other onvif compatible cameras (viewing only)?

Recently switched to blue iris for recording. I don’t want to force all users to down load and pay for blue iris mobile when they already use the free hikvision app for live viewing.

No.
And Apple and android have family sharing plans.
More importantly if you are port forwarding the cameras themselves you will be hacked. You should be using a VPN regardless it sounds like you’re not.

Thanks. They are lan only devices.

Only exposed port is the blue iris one.
