Dome Cam no Video at all

Hey Guys,

I've just recieved my DS-2CD2142FWD-IS dome cam.
i plugged it in and set it up with SDAP. I can acces the web panel without problems.

But theres no video at all in:
- Live view (Tested in multiple Browsers)
- VSPlayer ( Message: Network disconnect)
- using VLC
- ivms

Has any had that issue yet? Any way to debug it?

I appreciate any help, thank you in advance.

Sounds like webcomponents is not installed.
In IE11 (not Edge), check Settings | Manage Add-ons | to see if Hikvision's web plugin ActiveX control is loaded and enabled.

Did check that already, its loaded and enabled. And i think its even something else because i cant even get a video using the other tools.
But thank you for the hint

So you activated it, and set the IP address. Leaving the ports at their default values?
I can acces the web panel without problems.
Implying the networking is OK in terms of PC and camera being on the same IP segment.
It might be interesting to see what ONVIF Device Manager (sourceforge.net) makes of the camera.
Give it some logon credentials, top left of the window, it should find the camera automatically, and you should see lots of info about the camera including Live Video.
