DS-2CD2032-I 2048*1536 not available

I've got 2 of these cameras (from different suppliers). The one camera (Firmware Version V5.1.0 build 131202) is set to 2048*1536
However the other camera (Firmware Version V5.3.0 build 150327) does not have the ability to set to 2048*1536 only 1080 o r720.
Any ideas appreciated?

Check the 'Capture mode settings'.
Image | Display Settings | Video Adjustment.
I have not tried this myself - but I believe it puts a ceiling on the resolution.
