DS-2CD2032-I 5.2.5 bricked after 5.3.0 update

Hi Guys,

Fresh here, looking for much needed help! I bought 9 DS-2CD2032-I from AliExpress, with Firmware 5.2.5 English on them. I saw there was firmware 5.3.0 on Hik's site and went to update. Worst decision ever as the camera isn't reachable anymore. I tried sourcing the net for v5.2.5 and tried restoring via tftp with 2 different 5.2.5 off the internet. Apparently both seem not to work. I open the tftp server with all IPs assigned, the camera connects, firmware transfers successfully, but it stops there, no other updates or whatever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
It may be worth asking the seller for a copy of the firmware that was installed on those you bought - there are a few variations on what firmware works depending on when the cameras were manufactured.
 
I'm trying but that seems like it's going to take a while. Hik's email support is not replying either. Read countless threads on the subject and it seems that firmware is my only problem here.

Is there a way I can extract it somehow?
