DS-2CD2087G2-L wont stay activated

I have a Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2-L camera that will lose its activation any time power is interrupted to it. Unfortunately I live in an area that loses power periodically.
Whenever that happens it loses connection with BI until I log back into it and re activate it. Even though it save it is saved, the same thing happens at the next power disruption.
Firmware is: V5.5.801 build 211105
Is there a way to fix this?

What do you mean by lose activation?

Is it losing connection in BI because it is trying to find by MAC address instead of IP address as that was a revision update in a version of BI.

No, in the camera itself. I have to use SADP tool to activate it again. This screen shot is after I unplugged it and then plugged it back in.

Check under the microSD hatch where the reset button is located to see if the seal is displaced and pressing on the button.

When i did a search i saw a post about that. I had checked (and just did again) and it is free. I can physically push it in and it is free to move.

OK. Maybe there is a short circuit across the button contacts, such as a solder bridge.
But that would need disassembly to investigate.
Is it too late to request an RMA?

yes, it is second hand

Just used. Bought from a third party. Was fine for about a year but just started with this problem.
