I’m not bothered about line crossing etc only quality of the image.

CCTV so confusing.

I just don’t know if I can justify the 100% price difference between ip and tvi.

Requirements are 12fps, 1080p resolution. No other feature is required.

Tvi cost £215
IP cost £420

I would not pay anywhere near that price for either of those two models.

I would look at the Hik turret style camera the DS-2CD2385FWD-I. I have both dome and turret style cameras The turret consistently takes a better picture.

Been very impressed with the 2385s I have. I've also installed a few for friends who have been very happy with the picture quality.

Avoid the 8 megapixel cameras suggested if you want decent images in low-light...

Big chance you'll be taking buying from a china seller, delivery time, no real warranty, firmware issues.

I had a 8MP turret develop a fault after 2hrs on the test bench, just got it switched out buy the UK supplier who just next day delivered and recoverd dead unit at their cost. They also have a proper UK based support team who assist with any issues you have.
