DS-2CD2132F-IWS lens..?

Hi,

I have chosen to order the DS-2CD2132F-IWS, but I can't quite settle on the lens. I can chose between 2.8mm and 4mm. The cam will be installed outside the garage, and I know I will get a wider angle with 2.8mm. But will the picture get too blurry with 2.8mm, and at night will the ir bleed into the cam?

It wont be blurry....you will just have less pixels per area compared to a 4mm...i use the 2.8 all the time...that camera does have weak ir though..

I'd recommend the 4mm. The 2.8 mm is good only for objects less than 20 feet.

Thanks for the reply. I am ordering from aliexpress, so that is the only one with wifi I could find.
