DS-2CD2145FS vs DS-2CD2145F discrepancy

I ordered DS-2CD2145F-IS camera from XinRay on AliExpress, but i have received DS-2CD2145F-I (without-S).

Are the two cameras different?

I am confused because on the packed is written DS-2CD2145F-IS, but the SADP software say me DS-2CD2145F-I.

In the configuration of this camera i can see "Modell DS-2CD2145F-I"

What is the best solution for me? Which procedure will be the best? (Thanks)

doesn't the s just mean it has a sd card slot

I do not think so. I think S stands for sound. It means for audio.

And I need 2 ways communication. It is why i think it is a wrong camera for me. But i am not surre...

Shell i open disputes?

Yes. The camera looks like your last picture. The connectors also like in your last picture (the same connectors).

But, there is no option in the dropdown configuration / Video/Audio / Audio / Audio Input for a "mic IN". I have only Audio Input selectet: "LineIN". (no possibility for a "MicIn")

The china region cameras require a powered mic (line in)....there is no setting for a passive mic (mic in)

If the audio connections work then it should be possible...note that using 2 way communication on these cams is not perfect...you will also need to run power to the mic...

with a mic...if they are there then they likely work...the camera is likely an IS model with the firmware hack making it appear as an i model...
