DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL Panoramic 4k

Is there a way to increase the height of the image? It's too narrow in height IMO. I bought it on AliExpress during black Friday for 250$ CND shipped.

Exactly. It is indeed a Hikvision camera. I bought one and even uploaded the latest firmware from the Hikvison website. It only has the ANNKE name on it. All else is Hikvision.
I just got one of these cameras from AliExpress (CN security online store) that I saw in another thread. Do I need to update firmware right off the bat? I’v never done firmware update before. Thanks.

Edit to the above. The reason I upgraded the software on the first one I got was because I was having a problem with the substream. Turns out that the problem was that my NVR was not supplying enough power for all the cameras. So I installed a power injector and the problem was solved. I did not have any problems with the second unit that I bought and it is on a second NVR. I did update the firmware though it was probably not necessary.

Any benefit to running the Hikvision firmware over the Annke firmware?

I did not notice any. I was having a problem with the substream not coming up, and I was trying to figure out what the problem was. Down loading the latest firmware was a trouble shooting test. Turns out that when I added this camera to the NVR it went into a slight power overload. So, I added a power injector for the camera and viola, everything is now good. I might add that I only use the basic features.

Hi,

I've exactly the same problem, i can't open the substream from my NVR DS-7616NI-I2.
I've already test this on POE and with a power supply and it doesn't solved anything.
So, i'de like to upgrade my I91BH with the DS-2CD2387G2P firmware.

What's firmware do you use ?
this one ? DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL

Do you loose smart event ?

That’s the firmware I used and it gave me everything functional.

Which procedure do you use to update the firmware ?

By the Hikvision SDK like here : Annke Firmware to Hikvision Firmware: HOW TO
Or directly by the web interface ?

EDIT :
I've update my camera with the latest hikvision firmware but it's still stuck ( V5.7.1 build 220225 ).
i can see the Hikvision logo on my web interface.
I can open the substream from the camera with any problems.
But, it doesn't works from my DS-7616NI-I2 NVR.
When i try to edit the substream profile from the NVR, i've this error : "The camera does not recognize this function. "
When i try to switch main => sub stream, the NVR said : "Stream Policy Switch Failed".
I perform a full reset but it still stuck :|

EDIT 2 :
I've update my NVR from 4.21 to 4.61 and all is working.
Best day of my entire life :D
The new interface is very gross

For those using this camera at night with lights on, do you have problems with insects or bugs? If so, how bad is it? Did you have to occasionally clean the lenses removing bugs if use with lights on at night?

Thanks for the info on that. Do either of you are using it with Blue Iris? Does the human/car detection work well? Does this camera support onvif trigger for those detections when using BlueIris?
It does support ONVIF. Unfortunately it’s a very wide view so the person and car detection depends on your outdoor lighting and on the size of the scene you are trying to frame. I am using it as a full overview camera. Unfortunately due to that it doesn’t do the best at AI detections, however it does receive ONVIF information so it does flag for AI verification when the ONVIF alerts trigger, however vehicles and persons are really only detected during the day. I have 2 other cameras which also cover the same area which more often do detect and observe better than this one does, however currently only my doorbell and FrontDoor cameras are really able to perform the identify tasks properly.

How does this camera perform at night with very low light? Are you able to run it with at least 1/60 shutter speed to clearly capture motion with very low DNR? I'm considering between this camera and the new Dahua IPC-Color4K-T180, which I like the features it has compare to this one, but I really like the 32:9 aspect ratio this one offers instead. I'm curious, does anyone has both and can weigh in your opinions?
