DS-2CD2F42FWD-IS issues and question

All,
I purchased this camera from Amazon a month or so ago. 2 issues: 1) It drops off the network at least once a week and must be rebooted. 2) This camera's PTZ functions do not work in BI.

Current firmware is 5.5.0. Any ideas where I can get updated (hopefully fixed and more reliable) firmware?

first you will need to confirm that it is a world region camera before upgrading. Dropping off can be related to the camera itself or a network/cable issue.
what have you tried for the ptz settings in BI?
