Any help would be appreciated.

I have 6 x DS-2CD3145F-I and when connecting to my DS-7108N-SN/P it says camera not supported. What can i do to fix this?? The seller has a photo showing that they do work together.
I tried an older DS-2CD3132F-IW and it works fine.

Any Suggestions?

Cheers.

Did you update the firmware in the nvr?

Yes i have tried that.. It was on 3.0.7 and i went to 3.0.10.

The cameras i bought are h.265 and i believe the ds-7108 only supports h.264 so i think this may have something to do with this.

Any other suggestions? Cheers.

Hmm shouldn't give you that message I think for the encoding format. Change it to 264 directly on the camera then and try again

Can you deselect power to specific ports on the nvr? Im no nvr expert. Just brainstorming.

Would be careful to plug a poe active port into my normal switch or router. Not sure if it's a good idea.

You need to power the camera with 12v and change the settings h264. the firmware on the NVR works best with 3.13.

You can put your laptop via ethernet cable diretly in the poe ports of the nvr. The 48V DC from the poe ports only activate when there is a poe functionable consumer pluged ibn. dont be scared. your laptop will work fine. after you put it in the poe port of the nvr you have to change the ip adress of the laptop to the same network like the cam. now you can connect directly to the cam-ip via internet explorer and change settings.

edit: you connect the cams manuell or does the recorder got a "quick add" button to find the cams automatically?
