Purchased it on Amazon, fulfilled by Chinese seller (should've paid more attention to seller)
What's done is done...I got the camera; connected to 192.0.0.64 - set IP, & other config and just before install figured I'd load fw ...MISTAKE.
It rebooted and has never come back. I had 5.2.5-141021 originally, tried to load 5.3.0 from hikvisionusa.com
I have tried the TFTP thing...the camera is boot looping.
I get 2 pings then it goes down again...it's back on the 192.0.0.64 IP since the botched fw load. I have tried POE and 12v power sources, nothing changes. It never even attempts to hook up to my TFTP server. I have verified firewall, etc by connecting with another client w/ TFTP and it works fine.
Any ideas? Or am I the proud owner of a $100 paper weight?

Thanks in advance

Did you even try to search the forum for the solution?

I will try the HikVision TFTP and report back. The first HikVision TFTP Tool d/l I tried was dead so I moved on to TFTPD64...I hope that's my problem
Thx

Tried HikVision tftp tool...it hits the 'test tftpserver' line and pings begin but then shortly after (15secs or so) it fails ping again and client doesn't appear to successfully connect....I will try to use a switch between instead of the direct connection I have currently. Thanks for the help.
