DS-7604N - Telnet can't log in

Hi All,

I have a DS-7604N, sourced through AliExpress, and the latest issue I'm now facing is that I can't seem to get telnet going.

My NVR has FW version is V3.0.8 build 140825. In Configuration | Remote Configuration | Network Settings | Advanced, I checked the Enable Telnet box.

On the PC side, I used Microsoft telnet:
dvrdvs login: admin
Password: 12345
Login incorrect

I also tried to telnet with teraterm, with the same results.

Suggestions appreciated...

The login ID is root, not admin, then the admin password as you'd use in the web GUI.
