I have a DS-7608NI-E2/8P

I'm unable to connect to my cameras via my iPhone from the IVMS-4500 app. I noticed the main Ethernet port LED on the rear of the device is solid red. I tried rebooting the device and powering off/on (with and without the cable attached to the port) and it does not help. This appears to be the reason for the lack of connectivity. Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks

It could also have been reset to a default IP address.
What does SADP 3.0.0.10 version show, if anything? It will find a Hikvision device no matter what the IP address, even on another segment.
SADP found the device with the IP I initially assigned. I changed the IP just to see if it would make a difference. It did not. The strange thing is, I can ping the address.

is the NVR working correctly, as in can you view the cameras from it directly?

It is possible for a device to respond to a ping but not actually be fully operational as the ICMP response is handled low down the IP stack and may still work even if the OS has hung. Worth checking the network cable as well and maybe move the NVR to a different switch port to eliminate those.

OK, so the NVR is functioning at a reasonable level, if an SADP response is seen, plus the ability to make an IP address configuration change.
What version of firmware is showing in SADP, does it match what you'd expect?
Another way is seeing what responses are still available would be to use the Batch Configuration Tool, now rolled up along with others : DOWNLOAD PORTAL
As you still have admin access, it may be worth trying a 'reset to defaults' to see if that brings the web service back to life.

Also, if you're in to more experimenting, it may be worth seeing what services are still running on the NVR.
A simple way to do this is with the 'nmap' tool, available here : Download the Free Nmap Security Scanner for Linux/Mac/Windows

Usually an NVR will show like these :
Code:
alastair@PC-I5 ~ $ nmap 192.168.1.213

Starting Nmap 7.01 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2018-06-10 11:40 BST
Nmap scan report for 192.168.1.213
Host is up (0.0021s latency).
Not shown: 997 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
80/tcp open http
554/tcp open rtsp
8000/tcp open http-alt

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.10 seconds
alastair@PC-I5 ~ $ nmap 192.168.1.210

Starting Nmap 7.01 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2018-06-10 11:40 BST
Nmap scan report for 192.168.1.210
Host is up (0.0047s latency).
Not shown: 996 closed ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
23/tcp open telnet
80/tcp open http
554/tcp open rtsp
8000/tcp open http-alt

Thanks for responding.

The cameras are working fine. I can see them from the web interface.

I changed the cable and port, rebooted and powered off/on.
