DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S(E) - No US version...International version okay?

I've been looking to upgrade my very old NVR LV-N9808C8E (LaView Branded Hikvision)

I have a mix of cameras:
1x - DS-2CD2342WD-I
1x - DS-2CD2085FWD-I
2x - DS-2CD2083G0-I
1x - LV-PWD50202-W (LaView Branded HikVision Camera)
4x - LV-PB912F4C (LaView Branded Hikvision Camera) - Only using 1

The LaView cameras are not great and only 2MP but not really looking at anything too important and will probably replace them eventually.

I currently don't have any AcuSense cameras but would like to have some of the AI detection functionality which is why I was looking at the DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S (E) instead of the 7608-M2 but I can only find "International English" versions. And I'm not sure if I upgrade the firmware on these if they will change to Chinese language?

I would like to add some AcuSense cameras in the future but just not right now.

Is there a US model of the DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S (E)

I upgraded to DS-7616NXI-I2(E) a couple of days ago. It looks good so far after I updated the firmware to the latest version without any issues I have 9 cameras 2 ANPR, 5 Acusense colorvue, and 2 dump 360 and PTZ camera. I use dedicated POE switch not POE from NVR. Make sure it is (E) version so you can update firmware from Hik website. Yes you will able use some of the AI acusense feature from the NVR for old camera. If you have an Acusense camera, then you can use the Face Comparison and AcuSearch features. Most smart camera only let you use one smart group function at a time, just like NVR only let you use one smart engine at a time. Only expensive professional line camera and NVR let you use 2 features , and 2 engines at the same time. AcuSearch is a very cool feature allow NVR search recorded footage from many acusense cameras. AcuSearch required Acusense NVR and Acusense camera.

Would you care to share where you purchased the NVR through? I can’t find this model anywhere except Amazon.

Did you use the global hikvision site to upgrade firmware as well since there is no “US” version?

I got my from Ebay. The seller did post the model number with (E) version. I upgraded firmware directly from official Hik ,com global version website. Global has English, so I don't see any problem with Global version. The one I got is

DS-7616NXI-I2/S (E) without POE port.​
