My DVR is automatically shuting down or it`s stop running, what can be the problem?
I`ve noticed that usually this happen with NVRs connected via UPS and not directly

Are you referring to your pc running blue iris (that you mentioned on your other post) or is this a standalone unit? What is the make and model?

How many cameras are connected ?
What stream resolutions are being recorded ?

Full details are really required, everything apart from shoe size and mothers maiden name would be of great help in identifying the problem.

But I'll hazard a guess that as its got quite a low spec, the processor is working to hard and getting a 'tad warm' (understatement), this could result in a shut down.

2 cams are connected, with parameters:
from IP cam to DVR: compression: H.264; resolution: CIF; framerate: 12fps; bit rate type: VBR; quality: high; bitrate: 160kbps
from DVR through Network: compression: H.264; resolution: QCIF; framerate: 4fps; bit rate type: VBR; low; bitrate: 40kbps

Only direct manual reboot help them to restart after this it can work fine for some time
