Hello, I could not find any info here on easyn cams. Was wondering if anyone could direct me on how to access camera settings. Ive install the easyn software and I am able to access and view the camera via chrome and cameras ip address (hard wired). But once Im in and open settings window I cant get past device information page. Cant change time, date, get it to go wireless etc... Ive asked easyn support for direction but cant seem to get a reply. I have 2 easyn cams 1 h series and 1 f series. I struggled with the f series but have it working in my LAN wireless but no luck with the h.any help would be appreciated.

If these are new send them back and go with a better brand. If not, try using internet explorer, you may need to use companiblity mode by pressing f12 then going back to ie9...

Hi,

I have an IPCam based on the EasyN H3-V10R but without any branding whatsoever; purchased from dx.com. I know it is this model due to countless hours of HTTP captures and internet scouring to match it physically and logically to the EasyN H3-V10R.

As Fenderman suggested I would recommend using an alternate browser, when using it via Internet Explorer I have the best experience; I understand this is due to the device using ActiveX. If you still don't have any luck, there's the resetting it to factory defaults option in the hope it may assist.

I'm currently speaking with EasyN support via live chat to obtain a new firmware version for the device as I am experiencing inconsistent operation and frequent dropouts via both wireless and wired methods. Sadly EasyN don't list this model under the support section of any of their 4 (yes...4!) web presences as listed below:

http://www.easyn.com
http://www.easynp.com
http://www.easyntech.com
http://www.easynusa.com

Once I have the new firmware I will upload it and place a link here for others who may need it. The firmware version shipped with my device is V5.4.6.2.1-20130820 but reading around online, there is a newer one available but only in China apparently - V5.4.6.2.1-20140103.

If anyone is using iSpy or another multi-camera software to connect to the camera, please be aware that the web interface operates on different ports (80 vs 554) to the direct connectivity method via RTSP. The below string can be placed within iSpy under the FFMPEG (H.264) tab when adding a new camera:

rtsp://user:pass@192.168.1.24:554/H264

Lastly, if you want full control over the functionality you may need to write your own iSpy configuration file as I didn't have full functionality with the inbuilt EasyN configurations. If you do need to do this, PM me and I will gladly supply the one I created. Otherwise if you're keen on doing it yourself you can use this manual as a basis - yes different brand but exactly the same commands. :)

Hope that helped someone out, getting it working was far from easy and very time consuming!

Hello again, I've obtained the firmware file after waiting 4 days for them to locate it :numbness:. I've uploaded it to the forums and also to multiple file hosting providers. If you're reading this and all the links are broken then shoot me a PM and I'll gladly supply you the file!
