Recently I changed my settings so that time/date is run from cams instead of off BI to reduce resources a little bit. I've noticed that now when my cams reboot once a day, the date time never stays accurate. Any advice??

Have you set the time server properly? How often is it set to update?

can you specify a NTP Server? and update time? I had problems keeping my times all synced on my Dahua cameras so I ran a local NTP server and told them to update every 60s, since then they have been in perfect lock-step.

Why reboot your cams once a day? I know it's a personal preference kinda thing, but I don't reboot anything. Unless there's some kind of nagging problem with something that a refresh clears, I don't fix what ain't broke- no reboots. Aside, that's another reason I like nvr's- set the NTP in them and all time stamps be it live or recorded is right on for all cameras, instead of managing per camera.

That's the way it was set originally, so I never changed the setting. I will remove it today since I don't have a reason for them to reboot once a day.
