EmpireTech 9th Anniversary (Summer)Sales

Buy a few now, they are cheap enough. Then once the sale starts buy some cameras and get the included tickets.
This lets you break up your lottery numbers a little bit.
When you buy 5 tickets you’ll get 5 consecutive numbers. Then later when you get the camera tickets they will be a different set of consecutive numbers depending on how many cameras you buy.

Breaking up numbers is a psychological advantage but doesn't translate into a real world advantage. The next random drawing does not know what numbers have been previously picked.

I currently have a Loryta IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E for my LPR camera and am thinking about upgrading. Any of the refurb or sale cameras a worthwhile upgrade?

Got my 5 raffle tickets.

That is still the go to camera for LPR. I would spend the money on covering or improving a pinch point camera somewhere in your yard.

It's a big camera. It's 2-3x as big as the z12e. And the mounting bracket makes it look even bigger because of how far away it sits from the thing it mounts to. I'm not saying anything about the performance. Only that it would be tough to make it discreet.

The performance is great if you stay within the limits of the camera and would like the camera to do the actual reading.

Wow, I have the 12E. The dimensions on the LPR is 20.28" × 4.91" × 7.21" and the 12E is 10.76" × 3.74" × 3.74" So it is WAY bigger! I thought the 12E was large but a great camera. I do not even see it listed on empiretech01.com, maybe it is EOL? But at $349 it is a good deal!

The Z12E is not EOL and in fact got a newer chipset.

I need to learn how to search better! I searched for 12E and got no hits.

It is also on the sales list for $237 so maybe it is the way to go for the OP!

Andy, I just reread the lottery rules to see when numbers will be picked and it says "Use the following website for the lottery with results posted on June. 24th, fair and transparent. I will invite
some guys here to pickup the winners."
Did you mean July 24th?
