I'm considering buying this camera from Andy: IPC-HFW1831E

It'll be replacing an SV3C. With the new camera, I have a choice of ordering with a 2.8, 4, or 6 mm lens. My question is, how do I know which lens to order with to maintain the field of view I currently have?

The sv3c is a 4mp but I'm not sure of the lens size (is 2.8 considered standard?). The new camera is 8mp.

Here is a picture of my current view.

Thank you,

3.6 and 4mm are standard. 4mm should give you a similar view. However there is more to the fov than the lens. Consider the 2831, it will add motorized varifocal and the benefit of SD card backup.

Thank you.

I didn't see that model on Andy's store. I'll go back and look.
