A lot of people are probably after this, so in case you missed it:
In this topic the user soupratt posted a link to a file "Raptor_2_520_f_10_14_c.dav" (20.280.592 bytes) that is the working English(and all other languages) firmware V5.2.0 Build 140721, I've tested it on my two cameras and it worked. Used the TFTP Recovery method to update..

My cameras where previously running the 5.2 chinese firmware, both cameras came from china and where bought through ebay.
Ps.: If you can help him better than I could about updating his own cameras, please do it, check his thread. (Solved?)

Nothing against you or soupratt, but that file host is obnoxious (and slow!). I recommend dropbox or google drive next time.

The United States firmware can be downloaded from the Hikvisionusa FTP site. The sign in credentials are:

Are you saying the one on hikvision ftp is mutli-language? i.e. working on china version camera.
You must have US version?

The image posted here does work on china cameras.

I believe my was on china firmware and I didn't have an issue. But YMMV. On a side note this version really helped with the day/night issue for me.
 
I'm not exactly sure, so if anyone else can provide feedback on this.
My two cameras with firmware 5.2.0 lose conection for 5 minutes every two or three days. A firmware bug maybe? Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm using both cameras with a Synology NAS, if that makes any difference.

I upgraded a Chinese DS-2CD2032-I from 5.1.0 to 5.2.0 with the file on DropBox mentioned above without any problem. Now I am trying to adjust the Line Crossing Detection and Intrusion Detection to minimize false detection alarms. These added features are my reason for doing the upgrade. Thanks for providing the file.
 
Does this firmware work with Chinese versions as that is what we get in Australia not the US version
 
When I upgraded I did not use tftp, I just downloaded the file and used the normal firmware upgrade process using the web UI. My camera is a Chinese version, but was still showing English which is the way it was when I bought it from a US supplier. I was on V5.1.0.
 
Does this fit the firmware to the ip camera?
