Can someone explain to me the relations among FPS, Bit Rate, & iFrame Rate? In a general & typical situation, what are the recommended settings for them?

The recommended frame rate and I frame for security cameras is 15.

The I frame is a full image frame, all bits are there. The other frames are just the data that changes. If you are using motion detection recording, some times the start of an event is not clear as it needs an I frame to start from.

I run 30fps and 30 iframe (1 per second). I have no bandwidth concerns or storage concerns so it works well for me.
